2000 ohm output impedance means relatively low voltage. The input of the
32S is high impedance. The use of a transformer to step the impedance
and voltage up would be a benefit, else you probably will have to run
the microphone gain really high to add lots of audio stage noise.
Trouble is the common low to high transformer low side impedance is more
like 600 ohms than 2000 and the mismatch won't be a benefit. The
alternative is a preamp.
