Sell it as a harvest unit... you will net more than your original 300.00
investment.. you will remove one unit from future circulation that the next
owner will sell without full disclosure. let the bleeding hearts rant and
rave about ..for every radio hugger there will be a buyer waiting to harvest
parts and likely go toward making a needing set whole and useful... think
of it as your being an organ donor... that how many sets are out there
needing the good parts you have...
cabinet 100-150.00
pto 50-75.00
dial drum 25.00
the aluminum cover behind the filters 50.00
the spinner knob 100-150.00
4:1 redux drive assy. 150.00
individual front panel knobs 15-20.00 each not broken with good skirts
you get the idea 600.00 or so in parts and about 10-15 improved sets
from your unit.. your mileage will vary a lot .. but these thoughts are my
own... mac/mc

> I bought this 75A4 because it was cheap ($300). I knew at that price there
had to be something wrong. When I looked at it before I bought it I saw bad
places top and side, and the filters missing. I figured I could fix it (what
ever was bad).
>
> When I got it home, I found somebody had cut the cable harness out of it,
it would require rewiring the radio, can't if any components are removed but
I'm sure some have, not many if any.
>
> Should I piece out the radio? or would anybody want it for $300.00 no rust
or corrosion. What is the PTO worth? Dials? knobs? face? I would like some
input here.
