[Collins] New Art Collins Biography Published

I just received an advance copy from Ben Stearns of his long-awaited 
biography of Arthur A. Collins.
Ben has been working on this book for many years and I am so excited 
that it is finally a reality.

Entitled "Arthur Collins, Radio Wizard," the book is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 
softcover, with 394 pages. It is mostly text but has 30 pages of 
pictures, mostly non ham-related.

A note with my copy indicated that the retail price will be $18.95 
and will be available through the Cedar Rapids History center and 
Barnes and Noble. The ISBN is 097164160-9

Ben was Collins Radio's PR man for many years and has accumulated a 
wealth of information about Art. I am looking forward to reading the 
book which deals more with the whole of Art Collins and his company 
as opposed to concentrating on amateur radio.
