Heinz: I have two 310B-1s and they all came with that squashed rectangular base I mentioned. I have a friend who has two and likewise they came with the same type of coil that I have. Not sure where your round base coils came from. Perhaps Collins changed somewhere along the way. I understand JEL coils are better than MEL coils. 73, Charlie, W0YG..>>
