Well folks,
This has spurred some interest, so I got the pamphlet & read a little.
It's titled, "Mechanical Filter Plug-in Adapters"
    it's a Collins paper, for the 353C-14 & 353C-31, factory plug-ins, one
for CW (1.4kc), 1 for fone (3.1kc) Gives installation, operating & maint.
instructions, incl parts list & skem. 7 pgs total, not incl covers & table
of contents, disclaimers, etc.
it is for the 75A1, with no mods to the rcvr.
On page 1 it clearly states, underlined:
"The 353C Adapter will not work in any other receiver." don't ask me why
not
    uses a 6BA6 to drive an FL201 filter, followed by a 6AU6

I'll get it scanned in the next cupla days & send it to whoever asks.
