[Collins] Ads and other tidbits

Thank you for all the ads that were sent after my posting to once again
insert ads in the Collins Journal.  The response was nothing short of
fantastic.  Again, if you have something for sale or for want which is
Collins related, please send me your ad for inclusion in the next issue of
the Collins Journal (January/February issue) which should be in the mail in
a few weeks.

Also, the Collins Service Bulletin account  on the CRA website is operating
after a slight glitch and should present no problem in gaining access.

Remember that the CRA 160 meter net meets every Saturday evening at 1900 Khz
beginning at 8 PM EST.
Our other CRA nets are on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 3805 Khz
beginning at 9 PM EST  These are open nets and you can check in with any
type of equipment.

The CRA will be starting a new 20 meter net this Saturday on 14250 Khz  +
or - beginning at 12 Noon.  Please check into our nets if you have the time
and inclination.  The major focus of these nets is for the purpose of
exchanging Collins technical information and offering equipment for sale or
for want.

Remember, the Collins Radio Center is open for your inspection.  Let me know
when you are in the Johnstown, PA area and we will make sure to "keep the
light on." You can see a partial view of the CRC by going to the CRA website

December, 2001 sections.
