[Collins] 32RS-1?

Rob........ the 32RS-1 is a four (4) channel fixed station HF transmitter,
using 2- 6146's, similar in some ways to the 32S-1 transmitter, but without
the PTO. It used a carbon mic handset, similar to a telephone handset and
the power supply is very similar to the 516F-2 in design.

It is in a cabinet about 3 ft high, and 2+ feet square, more or less.

It was used for weather stations & small airports and I am told on board
freight trains, in the caboose and a some of them were exported to South and
Central America for use on plantations and in similar situations.

We had one a few years ago at our Hamfest auction and could not get a bid on
it.......... it went for $1.00 just to be rid of it.  It was worth a good
deal more than that for parts.
