If you use a blank filter position, Don't forget to use a couple 22k to 56K 
resistors (Value not critical; just sets the gain/loss) to complete the b+ 
and grid leak paths.   The cap can be .001 to .01 ceramic ; Not critical 
either.  You then get a 16 KC bandwidth.
