[Collins] Green crud on XTAL

An old navy trick used to rid verdigris (that green crud) on brass fittings (and now your xtal) is to dip the stuff in "bug juice" (no, not from squished insects or anything like that). "Bug juice" is a slang term for flavored drink (or "Kool Aid"). Apparently the acidic acid (or what other caustic stuff is in the juice) works to dissolve the green oxidation. I think vinegar would work too. Let me know how she turns out. Cal, N6KYR.
