i found a source for New Car Batteries.
i was replacing one of my stand-by radio batteries and dropped by AutoZone Auto Parts store..
They had a little table with 50% Off on obsolete or old style Batteries (no returns).
i run all my FM radios on 12V,  so i don't care what shape or rating the battery has.
These are brand new batteries.
They are not good for portable operations unless you have a wagon or trolley.
