i will be using my repurposed  BC-221 Frequency  Meter.

See CQ Magazine:  "QRP Radio Disguised as a BC-221”, Feb. 2018, p. 16-17.

It runs 10W into a vertical.



Astronomy  Info Below:

i will be photographing  Comet 46P/Wirtanen. It will be on the celestial meridian

in the constellation  Eridanus at 2130 (Local time) and should be visible in binoculars.

That is about 30  degrees south of the Pleaides (M45).

Can you see what i see? A star dancing through the night with a tail as big as a kite?

It is moving pretty fast so you might need a ‘Finder Chart’ to spot it,

The QSL card for this operation will be of the Comet 46P/Wirtanen, if the operation is successful. Keep your porch lights off after midnight so i can see the stars.
