I will have my BC-221 Frequency Meter on 7030 kHz +/- 2 at 1700z, 30 Aug. 2018.
This is not a converted BC-221, it is a repurposed BC-221.
That means it has been gutted and I am using the case for a new QRP rig.
It is a "1 Watter" in disguise ($49): <http://www.kitsandparts.com/1watter-V3.php>
driving a Pacific Antenna 10W amplifier ($55): <http://www.qrpkits.com/10wamp.html>.
It is running on 6 - 26650 LiIon Cells.
I didn't add a digital frequency readout on this rig so i have to use the 'Calibration Chart'
to set my frequency (appropriate). It will be on a full size vertical.
The construction details are in CQ Magazine, Feb. and March 2018.
The Special QSL for the day will be the astrophotograph of NGC7000, The North American Nebula.
