If you have Grow Lights near you, they might not be 'ON' all the time.

You can use the dark periods to listen without the noise.

Apparently the plants need to sleep or rest so the lights might not be on all the time.

The other factor is the cost of energy.

For COS the rates are higher during the peak periods of usage so the lights might

be turned off to save electricity costs.

Here are the COS Peak Periods:

  *   Summer (April to September): 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  *   Winter (October to March): 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
