The archives on this reflector go back to 2001, and ... kinda funny in a way ... I went back to the oldest archived e-mail and see that it's from N7JJY:

would like to know if there is anybody on the mail list that is in the
Fort Collins area--that could tell me if there is any fox hunts going on
in the area----if not would someone like to start a group.
I would be willing to come down there for a club meeting and give a
demonstration if that is acceptable----or to just get a group together
that might have an interest in something like this.
it is great fun and the "WIFE" and "KIDS" can also
participate too = no ham license needed to receive signals. !!!!
Help the kids have a fun day and to be an elmer to some that might be
interested in radio = any scouts out there???????
Like i said, I would be interested in coming -----with equipment and
info------to where ever or when ever !!!!!!----to help get this going for
the ham community!!!!
Contact = George Smith-----N7JJY
email archuka at juno.com

thanks in advance
73's----have a great day

[COham] Hello???? Is ANYONE besides myself here????

Used to have a lot of messages on: hamfests, talk-ins, classes, VE sessions, radio conversions, SAREX Mir contact, weather, virus scams, reposting of ARRL letters, etc, as well as ... "is anyone else subscribed to this reflector??" kinds of questions. I've posted a bunch in the past but not so much recently It is or can be useful.

I'd like to see it hang around and pick up more subscribers ...
