[COham] New Administrator

To me, it seems to be a viable resource, but it is surprisingly
underutilized. Of course, with that same underutilization, its viability is
not easily recognizable. If there are not that many subscribed to the
reflector, then it can't be very effective in reaching the hams within the
state.

Perhaps it needs some publicity if it were to achieve revitalization.

Pat, perhaps you could share some more statistics with us, such as how many
Colorado hams are subscribed?

I am somewhat ambivalent about its future. If it is to continue, I suggest
that we promote it to get more subscribers and more usage. If not, I will
shed no tears.

For what it's worth, I nominate (and vote for) Bob, K0NR, to be the
new/additional/replacement administrator.
(You're welcome, Bob!)

I was reviewing the activity on this reflector and K0NR has
the lion's share. I did two about subscription problems that
have been fixed for quite a while. Those two got a few replies,
and that's been it, in the last two years!

With the total activity on the reflector (two this year), do we
really need the reflector? If so, who would be willing to take
over the administration? I ask that because there is a 50%
chance I will be living in another state by year end.

Pat, W0IPL,
Current list admin.
