Just a note to call your attention to the Colorado QSO Party,
coming up on August 31st. This is an excellent opportunity to
get on the HF bands from Colorado, since everyone will be trying to

The focus is on activating the counties of Colorado.
You could just operate from home but you might consider setting up
portable or mobile in a less populated county.
PPRAA has a map posted of the counties and people planning to
operate from them. You'll see that there are a number of mobile
stations that will be on the air from various counties.
