Hi everyone:

....It'll be another 7-10 days before I can make another attempt to put 
my link on the air.  I have speakers, but no AC adapter wall plug for 
them.  Everything else to my knowledge is in order.

I *am* however able to get the 147.495 simplex link here in Denver full 
scale.  Not sure just where it's at in relation to my QTH (FYI for the 
locals, I'm over by Mississippi Ave. & Federal Blvd. and am up seven 
floors with a Diamond SuperGainer antenna directional toward the South 
and an ICOM IC-706 MKII-G for a transceiver, which will also be used as 
the link radio).  I discovered this while scanning all the simplex links 
for traffic a couple of times (Once while connected to the 145.115 
repeater for the traffic there and again for a regular QSO).

Anyways....Just wanted to spread the news of my (Hopefully SUCCESSFUL 
this time) upcoming plans.  :)
