 Hi CO guys,
i need some local daytime CO reception reports of the RW Beacon...
The 'RW' Beacon, WA2XRM, is sending 'RW' in CW at 20 wpm on 480 kHz.
Night time transmissions are 15 seconds long repeating every 15 seconds
from 0000z to 0600z.
Day time transmissions are one minute long at the top of the hour and at
the half hour (Beginning at **00 minutes and again at **30 minutes synchronized
with WWV).

If you want to set up a special schedule just send me an email
(w0rw at aol.com)
The Beacon is running 125W to a 30 foot vertical in Colorado.

You might have to disconnect your tuner and hook on your biggest antenna
to your receiver to hear the weak signal.
You can optimize your antenna system by tuning in a weak Airport Beacon in
the 400 to 430 kHz range.
Lamp dimmers and computer power supplies can also cause a lot of noise
that will mask out low frequency signals.

Please send SWL QSL's to:
