[COham] NVIS antennas

Anyone doing any work on NVIS antennas?  I have designs for several 
versions that seem to work fairly to very well but I'm interested in 
attempting a "tri-fold" version. That is to say the wire goes out, comes 
back and goes out again. The little I've seen on this type says that it 
should occupy about one half the space but loose only about 1 db 
compared to a full sized dipole.

Anyone tried something like that?
