Hi all,
On Sunday, January 18, a new APRS station was put on the air by Mark, =
KC0RIA. The station is located at the summit of Methodist Mountain, 9 =
miles south of Salida. The id is METHOD. This station is designed to =
be a RELAY, but Mark is not sure if it is working as such. Are there =
any hams in the area using APRS who can help Mark with this? I did see =
a couple on www.findu.com. Mark can be reached off net at =
[email protected]. Coverage of this station should be very good. It =
is located near the 145.295 repeater, but is currently using a mag mount =
antenna.=20
Thanks in advance for all the help
On the same trip, we were able to replace a faulty link radio on the =
CMRG system that connected the Salida site. Now, the 449.650 repeater =
is back on line with the 449.625 (Pueblo, Westcliff) and the 448.000 =
(Colorado Springs) repeaters.
