[COham] Scam Alert - PowerHam

'Tis the season to be alert for scams....after checking prices for some 
Icom gear, I ran across "PowerHam" at their web site:

http://www.powerham.com/

Be advised that this company doesn't exist.  It's web site is located in 
Romania, purportedly operating a business location in Kennewick, WA.  There 
is a considerable discussion regarding PowerHam on the Icom reflector, 
QTH.net and elsewhere about this operation.  They seem to have "pirated" a 
callsign, and have posted several items for sale - Icom and Yaesu - on 
various web sites, including eHam.  Should you contact them, they want a 
wire transfer for payment.  The web site has been copied from numerous 
commercial web sites, and several sections are in very poor English.

Caveat emptor.
