[CoARES-D10] Field Day Is comming

There are just 61 shopping days till Field Day 2004.... Do you have your
plans started yet? If not I would recommend it!
For those who may not realize it, Field Day is a prime opportunity to
experiment with and polish many of the skills we use in ARES. You can try
new  or different antennas. Check out rigs that you might like to get, or
have recently purchased (also thought of as field trials :)) Try new modes.
Insure that your batteries or generators are all that you think them to be.
Field Day is a means in which to insure you have all of the things you might
or could need for ARES deployments. Perhaps a good way to practically
establish what you might need in your go bags! If you don't know where to

If you have never done Field Day and want to throw in with another
established group, find out who is doing Field Day in your area or is going
someplace you might like to try and see if you can become a part of their
group. This district has a lot of good groups and ops who can show you how
to do it in fine style and most are different. Get in and get involved!
