[CoARES-D10] Tuning a 5Mhz antenna

I heard from an "olde timer" this morning that there was no way to tune
an antenna without RF going out. Not so Batman! It turns out that
Palomar Engineers has a device known as an 'R-X Noise Bridge' which does
NOT put out RF but does allow you to tune your antenna.
You will:
1) Put the radio, in receive, on the frequency you wish to tune to
2) Adjust the controls on the noise bridge for a null
3) Read off the impedance and if it has XsubC or XsubL
4) Adjust the antenna as required (shorten the antenna if it has XsubL
and lengthen it it is has XsubC)
This is an almost perfect device for dipoles and will work for other
antennas as well.
