In what is becoming a regular plea, do we have any input for the D-10
web page? Are there any updates that would be handy? Sir David of the
BXM, let me know when you have your new NCS schedule and I'll update the
training calendars.
Speaking of training calendars, I will have 2004 posted in a few days.
Are there any changes in those calendars that would be of help?
News Items: The current page has news items from last spring. How far
back do we want to keep news items? I'm inclined to keep items of long
term interest (like Randy's Severe Weather info) until superseded but
drop others after about two months past the event. Thoughts, comments,
questions, suggestions? Oops, just as a reminder, please send me an
E-mail on any announcements you make or are going to make that you would
like to include in the web page. I do miss some of the nets and
sometimes I am distracted (but not like the newly weds on the hill ;-)
and miss news updates.
We have very close to a web page of news items and resources. I find the
resource aspect to be very handy. Is there anything that can reasonably
be added to enhance that?
Humor: Would it be interesting to add a "One-liner of the week" (or
month) of things that are of interest to ARES or Amateur Radio in
general? "PTT does not mean 'Push Then Think'" as an example.
- - - - - - Oh, perhaps the five day a week, mid day discussion on the
115, by the same five or eight people, that discuss the same thing today
that they discussed yesterday, that they discussed last week, that they
discussed last month, provides sufficient comic relief. ;-)
Everyone has an opinion, just some more than others.
Thanks!
Pat
