Another antenna idea that works really well, but NEC-based models don't l=
ike is the WA5VJB style yagi.  See CQ VHF Summer 2002, pp. 58-60, "Really=
 Cheap Antennas for 2 meters, Self-Matching Antennas" for the latest repr=
ints on this design.

The asymmetrical feed, to me, looks a whole lot like a j-pole.  I've used=
 several, and they scale well to other bands.  $4-$5 for 9-10 dBi is hard=
 to beat.  =20
