[Cliffdwellers] grounding to water pipe

Thanks to all the great suggestions! The pipes I am referring to is behind the shower wall on the second floor, where my radios are also located.
Following your guide to connect to the cold water line on the street side of the union, it means I will have to run my ground line 2 levels to the basement. I reckon this is about 10 meters or more so it leads me to wonder if I should follow the suggestion of the other ham and use an MFJ artificial ground with a counterpoise?
