Mike,
If you can find 2 Metal Garbage Can Lids (covers) attach them to the
ends of your antenna this is like putting on "Top Hat's" you can even
use large size Pizza plates if you are not able to find metal can lids.
Have one built in my Florida "You CAN do No ANYTHING to" Condo, the
local A&& wipes from the pinko style "committee" are still trying to
figure out why I Just gave up.... hi hi

Had the idea from an article (do not remember which rag sheet it was in)
but I use a AH-4 antenna tuner mounted in the attic on a small post, the
AH-4 has NO Ground point.
I use a 15 foot long section of 450 ohm feed line to connect the center
point of the antenna to the tuner, one side to the of the line to the
"Hot" side and the other to the ground lug ....
The AH-4 feed and control cables are pushed down a small PVC pipe that
I put into one of the walls that lead up to the attic this I ended in a
plastic outlet box in the second bedroom (shack) nice and neat.

When I stay at the condo I bring my IC 706 MkIIG and a small switching
PSW set it up on the desk in the "shack" and swing up the plastic
"outlet plate and pull out the coax and control cable, on the Air 80-6
meters tunes like a charm and it gets out just fine .

For two meters I put up a "Hamstick" colinear mounted in the attic as
well, just remember to disconnect the 2 meter antenna when you use the
HF or else you may "blow" the 2 meter front end.....

PS:
I good friend who lives in a Condo in NC built a "indoor" version of the
(W5GI "Mystery" Antenna) do a web search for his page for more info, he
was able to place his in the long "communal" attic he uses the AH-4 as
well but its in his "shack".
