[Cliffdwellers] Help on HF antenna for apartment

I'm helping a friend set up his first HF station.  He lives in the 7th =
floor of a high rise condo.  His radio room has glass sliding windows.  =
He has tested an MFJ 1622 apartment antenna=20

It was clamped on to the outside window but the results were =
disappointing, not to mention the fact that rules in his condo =
considered it illegal. =20

Has anyone heard of commercial or home brew HF antenna designs that can =
be installed around the inside of a glass window?  I noticed they =
stretch from slightly above the floor to the ceiling.  It has an =
aluminium frame though. =20
