Hello Clegg fans


Starting to thin out my Clegg goodies.


Any interest in a SS-Booster with copy of manual?  Used to add RF clipping to the Venus.

I have a Venus  - bought it used - but never got a chance to try it out.  I think $50 would be a reasonable price?  A copy of the Ed Clegg QST article describing RF clipping benefits is included.


Also have an FM-21 main circuit board - Rght off of the flow-solder production line.  Price - Offer ??


Will probably have more as the sorting process goes on.  I know I have replacement meters for the FM-76 & MKIII

I bit the bullet and oh'd the zeuss ps/mod, built the cables
and it is up and running..( but nobody to talk to) on 6m.

I have to replicate the 2m swinging link to get it going on 2m.

as "luck" would have it.. I found a second set.. with the B reciever
and an all bander !  so have them here..waiting.

I am still looking for a replacement transformer for my first gen 
Interceptor..
which works fine.. but tranformer overheats rapidly.. even out of circuit.

Somebody has a Venus.. hmmm

ways.  Where are you?  I haven't had any reason to fire up my Zeus 
and Interceptor in a long time.

6 meters has been open daily for the last several weeks. Right now 12:30
AM EDT, 6/8/17, it's still open big time up and down the West coast,
Mountain states, Central states, a bit into the Southern states, and
Canada. Also looks like there was a multihop sporadic E contact from the
Northwest into England. Tuesday, band was open from all over the U.S. and
to Japan, South Korea, China, Africa, and Europe. Although a lot of the
contacts were done on JT65, the point is the band was open to these
spots. Fire up the rigs and bellow out some CQ's. You can't make a 6
meter AM contact unless you get on the air and make some noise.

Haven't heard much activity here (Kalifornia).  I've had an SDR 
dongle tuned to 50.125 most of the week and except for a few locals 
trying to force an opening, I haven't heard anything.  Of course, my 
luck, yesterday when the band might have been open, I wasn't monitoring.

If you're going to monitor anything, I would monitor the prop maps. The
old days of just monitoring 50.125 really doesn't work anymore.
Right now Northern CA is working into Europe. Other openings across the
U.S.
