Overhaul of a nice Zeus Transmitter is underway here at W6WUH I notice that the swinging link loading coil and it's actuating arm - plus the 2M S0-239 coax fitting have been removed. The 2M tank coil is still intact. I assume that there was an 8:1 dial string and pulley on a shaft with an arm that worked the swinging link 2M loading coil. Can anybody supply pictures of an original 2M tank circuit... and measure the dimensions of the 2M link coil. This would allow me to fabricate new parts correctly. My Final compartment cover is missing... so a picture of that would let me make a new one from similar material. --- of course if somebody has an rf deck which is too damaged to repair.. I would love to get original parts from a donor... including a bottom plate--- Thanks.. I gave him a spare Zeus RF deck and power supply a few years back for a project he wanted to do but it never came to fruition. He decided to part it out, so I had him save me the blower. Not sure if he has any of it left or not, but I'll find out tonight. Curious to know if you ever got the ECI scans I sent you a while back in response to your request? ~ Todd/'Boomer', KA1KAQ On Fri, Jul 10, 2015 at 12:37 PM, blimpy wrote: > 7/10/2015 anybody home ? > > Overhaul of a nice Zeus Transmitter is underway here at W6WUH > > I notice that the swinging link loading coil and it's actuating arm - plus > the 2M S0-239 coax fitting have been removed. > The 2M tank coil is still intact. > > I assume that there was an 8:1 dial string and pulley on a shaft with an > arm that worked the swinging link 2M loading coil. > > Can anybody supply pictures of an original 2M tank circuit... and measure > the dimensions of the 2M link coil. > > This would allow me to fabricate new parts correctly. > > My Final compartment cover is missing... so a picture of that would let me > make a new one from > similar material. > > --- of course if somebody has an rf deck which is too damaged to repair.. > I would love to get original parts from a donor... including a bottom > plate--- > > Thanks.. > > Larry W6WUH > Occidental California CM-88 > > good in QRZ. > > > no political, religious, or economic email, links, or > blogs please. > > __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus > signature database 11917 (20150709) __________ > > The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. > > http://www.eset.com > > > > ______________________________________________________________ > Clegg mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/clegg > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:Clegg at mailman.qth.net > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > From blimpboy at sonic.net Fri Jul 10 20:21:43 2015 From: blimpboy at sonic.net (blimpy) Date: Fri, 10 Jul 2015 17:21:43 -0700 Subject: [Clegg] Todd Message-ID: <7043B0ADFC0E45D085A09C1C00255159@larryPC> Todd, yes I got the ECI info...sorry if you didn't get the reply I sent.
