Todd, you might go to www.6mt.com, and take a look at the files George
and Lisa have. I know there is some Clegg files there, as I have
downloaded a few for myself. I am looking for a 22'er, and 66'er. My high
school had the 66'er in the shack, and I loved using it "way back then".
Now, I use a Kenwood TS-670 and try to find an occasional 6m AM'er on the
air, but am usually on SSB with it. I also have a Lafayette, Hamarlund,
and Heath on 6m AM. I gave my brother a 2m Clegg (forgot the model number
now) in hopes he would get excited, and get his ticket. He didn't... I
figured if I could get him interested, we would be able to cover the 1200
miles cheaper than with a telephone, and have a real time conversation.
The Clegg I gave him is the 2m that originally covered 144-146.00 and was
modified to get into 147.00.
Hope this gets you some help. By the way, I will be at the Belton
(Texas)Hamfest in April. If I find a 22'er needing some help, and cheap
I'll see about getting it. Stay in touch, and let me know if you still
need it then. The dates etc are on the Temple Amateur Radio Club site
(TARC).
