[Central-Electronics] W9DYV Radio Symposium Speaker Request

[nicktusa at aol.com]

To all CE Enthusiasts;
For many years, CE enthusiasts have participated in past W9DYV Radio Symposiums by offering insightful forums on equipment restoration, backstories on various vintage equipment manufacturers, and useful enhancements that could be made to our valued CE exciters. As radio technology has continued to evolve, the Symposium's scope has grown to include homebrewing techniques --- from tube to transistor --- and now SDR technology and use of important software-based modeling tools.
In 2019, we relocated the Symposium from Wes Schum's former home in Tennessee to St. Louis with it now part of the St. Louis and Suburban Radio Club's Winterfest. Please make plans to attend the 2026 Symposium/Winterfest (Mid-Central Premiere Hamfest for 2026) as a great start to the New Year's hamfest calendar. SLSRC puts on an excellent event and who can resist an expansive, indoor, hamfest packed with oodles of parts and potential radio finds of all shapes and sizes?!
Do you have an interesting idea or project that you could share with our Symposium attendees? Our group of radio-active enthusiasts would enjoy hearing of your findings and project successes (and challenges, too!) so, please send an email (nick.tusa at ce-multiphase.com). The Symposium can accommodate either in-person or virtual presentations. At Winterfest 2025, attendees enjoyed an excellent virtual presentation on the history of WWVH, so don't let the thought of 'DX-like' travel hold ya back!
