Nice going Colin!

I found that the CE Slicers do work better on National receivers in general,
and especially the HRO-50/60. For whatever reason, the National AGC
circuits seem to match the Slicers better than Collins. Never tried one
with Hallicrafters, but I did use one on my GPR-90 and it was decent there
also. Others on the list may have some additional experiences to share.

I got a Sideband Slicer from a swap meet. It had the Q multiplier in it. I
recapped it and hooked it up to a HRO-50. It works great. On SSB you can
have the receiver on AM and have full gain control and the S meter. Signals
sould great. Wonderful addition for copying SSB and the HRO. It also works
with the HR-60, a 75A-2 and an SX-71. The HRO 50 and 60 are perfect.
