[Central-Electronics] 20A C mod for MM-2

Does anyone have any information on the changes to w CE 20A to connect an MM-2 modulation monitor for the trapezoid pattern? This was called the “C” modification. The MM-2 manual says just add a wire from pin 18 of SWA sec 2. I’ve seen photos of a C model that shows the location of the RCA phone jack. 

But I vaguely recall there was more to it than that and there may have been a bulletin from Central Electronics on the subject. Is there more to do than put a jack on the back and run a wire to the switch?
