Greetings to the List!

Thanks for the add.  I am KU8L, licensed since 1962.  I am setting up a 
project station with a 20A (rackmount) and a period correct Drake 1A.    
Like most new to the 20A, I am considering options for the VFO.  I can 
build one up re-purposing a TR-3 PTO or a 458 and know about using an 
ARB as well.  I am wondering if anyone has any review comments on the 
N3ZI DDS unit.  Because it has 30 different memory set-ups for different 
IF offsets, it would give proper readouts on all combinations for the 
20A as well as dial inputs. Requires a small buffer amp but that is 
minor.  I would love to find a Band Hopper but not holding my breathe.
