[Central-Electronics] Refurbing Bandhopper VFO

 Tom,
I redid two BH's over 10 years back. One was for me, and another for a member here named DOC.
The dial on mine exposed to the window was destroyed. I did my best (not very good) with MS paint to repair the scanned image. I scaled the printout to the proper dimensions, and cut the paper to fit, and used contact cement to affix the paper to the old dial. In my case, using just copy machine paper, after about 5 years the image degraded, and has continued to degrade. With Doc's BH I used a better and thicker paper. Not sure how time has treated his. Oh, I also inverted the colors such that the dial was white with black lettering. It was more readable to me that way.

If you have a better image of that dial to begin with, then I'd love to have a copy. :-)

Does anyone know of someone capable of either silk screening a new dial for
the Bandhopper VFO or if there are any used or like new ones out there. I
would also be interested if someone could print on a plastic or photo paper
overlay as I have a fairly good PDF of a new dial if there is someone that
could print it on the proper media. I do have the original dial backing but
it is for the most part not usable except as a base for a reprinted dial. I
have a laser printer and a fairly good inkjet but don't know how to go about
the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also would like a contact for silk screening of the front panel. I am going
to try to clean it but would like a backup plan for that also. TNX!!
