Picked up an interesting item at the Sandwich, IL hamfest this morning.  A 600L cabinet, faceplate with only the meter present, and an unpopulated chassis for the power supply side.   I wonder if this was perhaps a leftover/mock-up from the engineering dept?  The meter bears only the nsme "Central Electronics" and a scale devoid of any numbers.  It's hard to tell, but almost looks like it could have been hand painted white.  The front panel has a hammertone finish, and is void of any silk-screening.  It appears all lamps, switches, etc were installed at one time.  The holes appear to have been stamped or punched out, not drilled.  The partial chassis shows no evidence of ever having had parts mounted, rear apron is silk-screened.  There is no chassis present in the RF side of the cabinet.  Apparently attachments don't work on this list.  I have a few pictures if anyone would like to see it.
Anyone have some insight on this one?
