Bob (W9RAN),

Not to worry. I am sure to have one of those caps in the warehouse. Send
me a reminder as we get closer to the July 23rd event.

Picked up an interesting item at the Sandwich, IL hamfest this morning. ?A
600L cabinet, faceplate with only the meter present, and an unpopulated
chassis for the power supply side. ? I wonder if this was perhaps a
leftover/mock-up from the engineering dept? ?The meter bears only the nsme "Central
Electronics" and a scale devoid of any numbers. ?It's hard to tell, but
almost looks like it could have been hand painted white. ?The front panel has
a hammertone finish, and is void of any silk-screening. ?It appears all
lamps, switches, etc were installed at one time. ?The holes appear to have
been stamped or punched out, not drilled. ?The partial chassis shows no
evidence of ever having had parts mounted, rear apron is silk-screened. ?There is
no chassis present in the RF side of the cabinet. ?Apparently attachments
don't work on this list. ?I have a few pictures if anyone would like to see
it. ?
Anyone have some insight on this one? ?
Regards,?Chris kc9ieq

I have a 100V for sale. (one of many I?m slowly restoring ?)

Restored and fully operational. Cleaned, newly painted and screened front
panel, knobs polished, all modules tested and repaired as required (PS-2,
audio filter, audio limiter, all plug-in RF modules), all tubes tested and
replaced as necessary, 6550?s are Tung-Sol brand, rebuilt and aligned VFO
(new bearings, etc), rebuilt the two-speed tuning knob, replaced rusted
hardware, complete alignment with spectrum analyzer. Original manual included.
Shipping will not be cheap because the unit is heavy and I double box and
use foam for protection. I do NOT want this 100V damaged in shipment. $1500
plus shipping

I *may* go to Dayton given good weather and, if so, you can pick it up
there. If you have a serious interest and would like more info and/or photos
let me know.

Hi Gang:

CE 100V #E466 from the estate of a recent SK ham in the greater Boston
area.

Electrical condition unknown, physical condition very good.   Asking $195;
prefer local pick up.

Photos can be made available.

For details, contact me directly.

I brought home CE Sideband Slicer with Q Multiplier from Dayton, but
somewhere along the line evidently the "Tune" knob got whacked, breaking
the shaft of the vernier drive variable capacitor. It's not
repairable, so if anyone has a basket case slicer that might be a donor,
I'd appreciate hearing from you.

I've never seen one. CRT rejuvenator... A buddy was going to
rob the mult-section switch from one. Says is in very nice condition.

Anybody need it? He can hopefully find a switch someplace else.

I found one of these things at a VERY small hamfest last year......price
was too cheap to turn down, so I got it. First and last one I've ever
seen
(and first I'd heard such a box even existed), so was glad to find it.
Not gonna take mine apart (and I doubt I could use it to rejuvenate any
of
my new HDTVs), so it's gonna stay as it is. Maybe getting the rights to
this was the REAL reason Zenith bought C-E.......???.

Guy I worked with got a 35 inch (from memory) Sony rejuvenated
around the turn of the century. Perhaps one of the last ones. I
should have documented it!

I personally hate to see any CE gear trashed, but don't think it will
do my LG any good!
