[Central-Electronics] The Central Electronics Boatanchor Event, Jonesborough, Tennessee

[Bill]

 From the CCA List:

Greetings to the group. This is my first post here, even though I have
been a member of the CCA since it began. I am member number AC96-00087.

As many of you probably already know, we are planning our 4th annual
gathering at the home of the late Wes Schum, W9DYV, in Jonesborough,
Tennessee, on July 23rd. The estate is know known as Storybrook Farm, and
is operated by his family as a Bed and Breakfast Retreat.

This summer we are developing what will be the most rare and unique
collection of vintage SSB, AM and military radios of the post WWII and
early SSB years, for display and operation in an arena on the grounds of
the estate. All those who wish to display in the arena must be approved to
do so by Nick Tusa, K5EF.

Nick can be reached at nick.tusa at tusaconsulting.com

Outside of the arena, on the grounds of Storybrook Farm, we are offering
free tailgate space to any Amateurs who would like to tailgate swapfest any
radios of any era. Those who are not invited to display in the arena will
have a $10 entry fee to shop in that display area. It will help our
planning if those coming to tailgate will send me an email so that we can
keep a "head count."

And those of you who would like to see our flyer about the event, please
email me and I will return that attachment to you.

73, K5LYN. Lynn.
