After owning these three 100V's since 1978 for the first one, it is with very mixed feelings that I've decided to offer them for sale. I'm moving, so someone who can pick them up within the next week will get a bargain.
Most of my operation is not SSB and so these rigs have not been used in twelve years, stored in plastic bags and not in basements. Simpler/smaller rigs work for the other modes, and with increasing age and less space these have become hard to deal with.
One of the three I sent to Joe Batchelor in 1990 to be rehabbed and he installed his 160 meter kit. This was my main transmitter for twelve years. Another was used as the main transmitter for the years prior. The third was picked up for parts and never run, although it appears complete and has the factory 160 meter coils.
When last used the two working ones were trouble free, except for the usual non-working vernier on the main tuning. I have and can send photos but they're not remarkable, they're in OK condition - with no extra holes or scrapes, but not museum quality. There is one paper manual.
I'm selling these due to a limitation in time and energy and now the "fun" of moving. I'm happy to answer questions but won't split them up or deal with packing, shipping or carrying them around. They are in Kenosha, WI, 60 miles north of Chicago and 30 miles south of Milwaukee. I will not set a price; if you would like to buy these, please be prepared to make an offer and I'll take the first one that seems fair.
Thanks.
Pete
