Has anyone spoken to Nick Tusa about this? He is the guy that can give some insight as well as
very connected with Wes Schum.

I’d bet this is more likely a KWM-2 style clone, with 500 KHz ranges instead of 200 KHz, and frankly (without seeing the underside) makes a KWM-2 look more like a Heathkit based on the way it seems to be built.

>>> What an unusual situation: As Grant and others have remarked, a beautiful piece of amateur radio's manufacturing art, clearly "Collins" quality, and yet, a mystery. Seems like at least of one us old dogs would recognize it or have seen it in a CQ, Ham Radio, 73, or QST ad back in the 59-60 timeframe or on a desk in a MARS military installation. There's nothing currently on the web about it. Will check the Wayback archives later today. Hope whoever buys it is "one of us" and will share their close up and personal discoveries.
