I'm confused on the function of a bit of the circuitry on the 100V and 200V.

The driver bias line runs to pin 9 of the 2nd mixer coil set. However, there is a wire (white) that runs from this connection to pin 13 of the buffer coil set. Also connected to pin 13 is a 2 uuF cap that connects to the 6-5 MHz VFO signal. I can see that pin 13 is simply used as a tie point, but I can't understand what purpose this white wire serves. The bias voltage would be blocked by the 2 uuF cap and I see no reason to feed the VFO signal to the back end of the 2nd mixer coil set.

Can anyone unconfuse me?
