A guy shipped me a 600L in a cardboard box with some foam padding. It arrived OK, but the box was on the verge of coming open in multiple places. I got real lucky.

UPS domestic handles up to 150lbs for the standard service.
The 600L is listed at 117 lbs crated in their brochure. If one starts
overachieving in the crating and packing, 150 lbs can easily be exceeded
depending on type of wood and packing.
I think it's a risk decision. Are you willing to accept potential damage
with a rare item?
If you really value these treasures, you might try and justify a personal
trip out there and drive it back.
Seeing America by car is wonderful.
