[Central-Electronics] CE-20 frequency stability

Dumb question.  I read the thread and this does interest me because I
have one of these fiiiine vintage rigs.  But has anyone ever thought
about using a DDS VFO in place of the xtal or the conventional VFO?
The question of frequency stability would be at least, in part, solved
by removing a known drifty variable out of the equation.

I know, I know: a DDS VFO isn't "vintage," but I'd rather be solid
like an I-KEN-COM-SU rock than a sore embarrassing thumb.
