[Central-Electronics] 600L Question & Thanks

Gentlemen,

 

Thank you for your comments on the 600L.  It sounds like a dependable piece
of gear, and certainly worthy of restoration.  Bob, thank you for the
encouragement and I will be sure to approach you if any hard to find parts
are needed.

 

Over the last couple of weeks I have enjoyed reading the posts to this group
in the archives.  You have a great group here.  I have learned quite a bit.

 

I am currently restoring the first 20A.  It is a rack-mounted version.  It
is making RF, transmits CW & AM but I am having trouble suppressing the
carrier when in either SSB.  The other item on the bench is a 458 VFO that
is being cleaned up after a near 40 year Hiatus.  Some time in its distant
past a mouse had made it home so a good cleaning was in order.
