Well, as I mentioned previously, a rig in top electrical as well as
cosmetic shape will certainly be worth a premium price. I'm sorry if
you've never seen any/many for sale, I've seen numerous 100V, 200V and
even several 600Ls over the years. I have seen a couple restored units
for over $500, but the vast majority were $500 or less in "decent
looking" shape. I'd never tell anyone their price is wrong, they are
free to ask whatever they desire.
Of course, you are free to be as realistic as you'd like with your
money, too. If the day comes that I decide to part with my 200V or
100V with the original crate it was sent back to Wes for
reconditioning in by the original owner, I'll call you first in
anticipation of the best offer, Fern. Both look far better than just
'decent'. (o:
Bearing in mind George's description of driving the 600L more
efficiently with the 20A, I'll have one for sale at NEAR-Fest in
decent or better shape, with original manual. Must be worth what,
$350? $450?
It's all good so long as you're having fun with the gear on the air.
