[Central-Electronics] 600L Question

Today I was in a QSO with Lynn K5LYN. We were both on 80m AM, and both
using a 600L amplifier.
I was driving the 600L with my SWL Retro75 AM transceiver, and Lynn was
using his 10a exciter.
Lynn was dialed in at 45 watts carrier output and I was running 70 watts
carrier output.
Lynn had 175 watts DC input (just below the AM label on meter) on his
600L meter, and I had 235 watts DC input (just above the AM label on meter)
In both cases there was plenty of headroom for 4X the carrier to handle
the PEP power at 100% AM modulation.
So my question is, Can the 600L run 70 watts AM (SWR 1:1) without
worrying about burning up the broadband couplers?
In my 600L the 813 was blushing orange over about 30% of the plate area.
Regards,
Jim
