Jimmy
You are probably getting lots of good feedback but just thought I would
offer my suggestions
I think your question pertains to the antenna relay portion of the hookup.
There is an outlet on the back of the 200V marked "To Antenna Relay 115 VAC.
Wire a standard AC plug from that receptacle to power the 115 VAC Dow
antenna relay when the 200V is keyed.
The contacts on the relay are normally open.
You will need to wire one set of contacts to key your amp and wire another
set of contacts to mute your receiver.
You will have to review your receiver manual for instructions on how to set
up the mute function.
I build a small switch box using a Radio Shack plastic project box(the small
black one), put a RCA jack at each end and a toggle switch on top and wire
it up inside, this box will allow you to disconnect the amp keying circuit
whenever you want to without turning the amp off. I always switch the amp
out of the keying circuit when I am initially tuning up to make sure the
drive is what I want and the antenna tuner is adjusted for minimum swr then
I switch the amp back in and double ck everything, in my case I usually have
to fine tune the tuner a little at this point.
Also, there will times when you just don't need the amp and with the switch
you can just remove it from the circuit quickly.
I use shielded phono cables, already made up from Radio Shack, for this,
leave the RCA plug on one end of the wire and cut it off from the other end
as you will be connecting this end to the Dow relay amp contacts by
soldering them on.
Now when you key the mic the relay will be energized, muting the receiver
and keying the amp relay if it is switched on.
Hope this helps.
