Gentlemen
I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a newly acquired D-104 mic to work with my CE200V.
My mic is the basic D-104 non amplified, just two wires plus grounded braid.
I am using the ptt mic jack on the rear of the 200V.
According to the 200V manual pin #1 of the jack should go to the mic cartridge and pin #2 goes to the mic switch with shield to ground.
With this configuration pin one is grounded when the mic is off and opens when the mic is keyed.
I have a Shure 522 & 444 wired the same way and they work fine.
The D-104 does not work.
I have tried switching the two leads just for grins and still does not work.
The 200V keys when I key the mic but no output when I speak into the mic.
I am beginning to suspect that the cartridge in the mic might be bad.
Does anyone know anything about these mics that could help me unravel this one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
