Good morning, this isn't really a status update as much as it is a request for suggestions.
For those that were following my earlier status reports, I had set the 200V aside in May of this year. I don't do much in the way of radio restoration during the summer months, I'd rather be outside enjoying the weather. Now that October is here along with the fall weather, I'm about ready to get back in the shack and continue with the restoration of the 200V.
Where I left off was that I had good full CW output on 160 thru 15 meters with somewhat reduced output on 10 meters. SSB is the problem. Replacement of caps (especially the white ones!) had cleaned up the audio, removing the nosie I had originally. The problem is that regardless of what position the mode switch is in, LSB or USB, the output is always LSB. I'm about to dig back into the manual to refresh my memory about the operation of the 200V and how the SSB is generated, and figured I'd begin by asking if anyone has experienced this problem with their 100V or 200V, or if anyone knows anything about how the SSB generation and suppresion is performed, that would explain why the SSB output is always LSB regardless of the mode switch. I don't want to re-invent the wheel if this topic has already been addressed and resolved by others.
Thanks for any sugggestions/advice.

Paul, W2EC
